The table below gives a ranking to UK cities based on comparative prices of different types of properties: flats, terraced, semi-detached and detached. 

The ranking is highest where flat/terrace prices are particularly low compared to detached house prices. 

This table was produced early in 2003 - look at Liverpool, low, low prices for all types of property back then!  Now that the European City of Culture has been won for 2008, prices are indeed shooting up.  For an updated table for 2004, contact us.
