57: Hotspots for 2006 - Britain
01-28-2006
By popular demand, the PropertyInvesting.net team can report the 2006 Hotspots for Britain. The tabulation is based on research and analysis of 10 years of trends, plus forward forecasting based on socio-economic changes, infra-structure developments and demographics. One million people are due to swell London's population in the next 10 years - though we don't see 500,000 homes being built. The GDP growth of 3-4% with services sector private jobs growth and less reliance on public sector and manufacturing jobs than the north supports a forecast of robust capital value increases in the next 5-10 years in the London area. Immigration, inward investment, the Olympics and transport improvements will also benefit most of East London.
