142: Regional population boom in London and SW England

PropertyInvesting.net team
All UK property investors take note. These are the projected population increases per region in England from 2005 until 2029. Guess which regions we expect property prices to increase the most in?
London, the SE and SW England.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out. Land shortages, jobs growth and the booming services sector will support property prices in regions with the biggest population increases. PropertyInvesting.net do not believe the rate of home building will ever catch up with the boom in new households in southern England. This is why we maintain our five year bullish stance on property investment in southern England.
This is also why PropertyInvesting.net do not currently recommend investment in North East England (e.g. Newcastle).
London's growth will outstrip all other regions, and much of this wealth will end up in south west England (holiday homes, retiring babyboomers and telecommuters). These regional numbers have been difficult to track down - now we have them, we are delighted to share them with you.
