Especially in London, where house prices are expensive.
In some parts of the capital, such as Kensington and Chelsea, homes are worth millions of pounds.
Other areas are a little bit more affordable, however.

Along one road in West London, some homes are worth as low as £175,000.
Yep, you read that right.
In Amberley Way, Uxbridge, the average price of homes is £228,526, according to Zoopla.
The price of homes in Amberley Way has risen by 2.25 per cent in the last three months, and by 3.29 per cent over the past year.
But in the past three months, one home in Amberley Way was sold for just £175,000.
It's not just the affordable price which makes Amberley Way an attractive road to live on, either.
Located off Hillingdon Road, it is a short walk from Uxbridge High School, which can be found on The Greenway.
Hillingdon Golf Course is opposite, while Brunel University London, Hillingdon Manor Cricket Club and Hillingdon Court Park are a short distance away.
Uxbridge town centre is a 15 minute walk away, meaning Intu Uxbridge, high street retailers and dozens of restaurants are more or less on your door step.
Uxbridge Tube station is a 17 minute walk away, so trips outside of London or to other areas of the capital can easily be made.
Trips to London Bridge and London Victoria take around an hour and 15 minutes, while Heathrow Airport is just 30 minutes away - handy for when you go abroad.
The average price of a home in London currently stands at £666, 842, so homes in Amberley Way are significantly cheaper.
