Average prices for L19 4, in Allerton , near Paul McCartney’s childhood home, have soared548% - from £43,000 in 1995 to £278,495 in 2015.
In CH48 1, near Frankby , prices were up 447%, from £115,000 in 1995 to £628,500 in 2015, while in L19 8, near Garston , prices were up 441% from £23,000 to £124,495.
On a national level, prices in one West London postcode have increased 20-fold over the past 20 years, the biggest increase in England and Wales.
Prices in W1B 1, along Portland Place in Westminster, have risen by 1,875% from £200,000 in 1995 to £3.95m in 2015.
There were 15 postcodes in England Wales where prices have increased ten-fold or more over the past two decades.
