House prices in Croxley Green have risen by more than 20 per cent in the last year.
Estate agents Sewell and Gardener said house prices in Chorleywood, Rickmansworth and Watford had also risen by 17.5 per cent in the last year.
Alex Sewell, Managing Director of the estate agent, said: “Whilst Chorleywood, Rickmansworth and Watford have seen prices grow by a pretty impressive 17.5 per cent over the last 12 months Croxley Green has outstripped surrounding areas by anything from 2 per cent to 5 per cent.”
Mr Sewell pointed towards a number of planned developments in the area – including the Croxley Rail Link and the planned Croxley Green Secondary School – as reasons for the increasing house prices.
He added: On top of this, the existing local businesses have really upped their game with fantastic local cafes, pubs and shops.
“Croxley has always benefitted from a selection of great primary schools and with a second secondary school due to open in a couple of years, it is not surprising that it has seen such a boost.”
The estate agent will be opening a new office in Watford Road early next year.
