Arsenal can finally claim to be top of the Premier League, at least when it comes to rental prices.
Lettings agent Rentify has compiled a list of how top football clubs would rank if the table were organised on the rental price for a two-bedroom flat.
Arsenal would top the table, with rent topping £2,000 per calendar month for a two bedroom flat. Meanwhile, players of fans from Sunderland can pay far less to be within the same postcode as their club’s stadium: just £425 would get you a flat there.
Meanwhile, Liverpool (£495), Manchester City (£650), and Manchester United (£650) would get nowhere near the top four. In fact Liverpool find themselves in the relegation zone. £1,321 is enough for a top four spot, which West Ham just take from Crystal Palace (£1,150).
This could be bad news for Raheem Stirling, who would have to pay £150 more for a flat near Manchester City, if he wrangles a move there.
